Join me on a magical journey to the borderland where dusk turns to night.
By the series "Edge of Night" I aim to explore the space between fantasy and reality, the boarderland between dream and nightmare, mixing themes of sleep, comfort, memory, and the inner emotional landscape. Through bold brushstrokes, layered textures, and subtle (and not so subtle) symbolic references, I reinterpret familiar imagery and traditional sayings, allowing each piece to carry both innocence and depth.
The "Edge of Night" series is artwork aimed at both children and adults, a combination of fairy tale motifs and sculptures that blends thought, fantasy, dream and nightmare.

Mixed Arts
The art at Lost Arts is a mixture of acrylic paint, silver leaf, digital illustrations and digital prints on canvas. The base images are illustrations from the childrens books "John Blund bakes sleep cakes" and "John Blunds dream factory", by Lovisa Strömsholm.
